Who We Are

HORAC Nepal is a non-profit social organization based in Kirtipur-06, Taudaha, Kathmandu, dedicated to protecting and nurturing vulnerable children. We are registered with the Government of Nepal as a not-for-profit company, affiliated with the Social Welfare Council, and licensed by the National Child Rights Council of Nepal.

We provide a safe, secure, and loving home for at-risk children, including those who are orphaned, abandoned, destitute, and survivors of domestic violence. Our shelter offers both emergency and long-term care, giving children a place to heal, learn, and grow away from harmful environments.

Children at HORAC Nepal come from different parts of the country. We ensure their basic rights and needs are met by providing nutritious food, safe accommodation, clothing, education, healthcare, and emotional support. Through consistent care and guidance, we help children build confidence, develop life skills, and prepare for independent and meaningful lives.

Nepal continues to face significant challenges related to child vulnerability, including poverty, lack of education, inadequate shelter, and social exclusion. These conditions place many children at risk of exploitation and long-term hardship. Recognizing this reality, HORAC Nepal remains committed to standing with these children and supporting them to achieve their full potential.

Our vision is to expand our reach and capacity to support more children in need. With the collective efforts of donors, partners, and the community, we strive to create a lasting positive impact ensuring that every child grows up in a healthy, protective environment that promotes dignity, well-being, and hope for the future.
