HORAC Children Participate in Municipality-Run Electricity Workshop

April 2–5, 2025

Following the completion of the academic session 2081, a group of HORAC students Govinda Puri, Sandesh Budha, Aaditya Malla, and Nabin Singh had the opportunity to participate in a four-day practical electricity workshop organized by the local municipality in collaboration with their school.

The workshop aimed to introduce students to the fundamentals of electricity, focusing on safety guidelines, basic electrical concepts, and the use of essential electrical tools. Sessions were held daily from 10:30 AM to 1:00 PM, offering structured, hands-on learning under the guidance of experienced trainers appointed by the municipality.

Throughout the program, students engaged in live demonstrations and practical exercises that encouraged active participation and problem-solving. Trainers and teachers remained available to guide the participants, clarify concepts, and ensure a safe and supportive learning environment.

The workshop not only strengthened the students’ understanding of electrical systems but also enhanced their confidence and sparked a heightened interest in science and technology. Such initiatives provide valuable real-world exposure, equipping our students with practical skills that can inspire their future academic and career pathways.

HORAC Nepal appreciates the municipality and school for facilitating this opportunity and looks forward to supporting more skill-building programs for our children.
